Leadership Retreat
An emerging markets-focused, multinational fintech firm sought Botho’s support in helping them navigate a critical inflection point in their 20-year history. Large organizations with multiple offices often face challenges due to misalignment between regional operations, leading to inefficiencies and missed opportunities. Recognizing the company's untapped potential, the founder wanted Botho to run a different kind of retreat for the company’s executive leadership and board - one that would serve as a springboard for broad-based organizational change.
Botho curated and led a three-day company retreat comprising over 20 people from their different regional offices, combining interactive workshops, a solution-oriented design sprint, and team-building. The goal was to dismantle silos, foster open communication, and generate buy-in across regional offices for a shared vision and overarching strategy. Meanwhile, the design sprint allowed the group to come together and generate tangible solutions to address this overarching strategy in a tight time frame.
Prior to the retreat, Botho conducted stakeholder interviews across all regional offices to identify both cross-cutting and unique goals and challenges. This data-driven approach informed the design of a tailored sprint to address specific organizational needs.
In less than a month, we delivered a transformative experience resulting in a strategic roadmap for regional integration, enhanced inter-office collaboration protocols, and actionable efficiency improvements.
