Dr. Levi Uche Madueke is a Nigerian born Diplomat who just retired from the Africa Union after holding multiple senior positions including as the Head of Africa’s Strategic Partnerships from 2015 to 2021 and just recently as the African Union Commissioner General for Expo 2020. At the Expo, Dr. Madueke championed the drive to showcase the AU Agenda 2063 to the world and together with the AU Member States sensitised the world on the secure investments opportunities that exist in Africa. Dr. Madueke is a specialist in establishing and managing strategic and mutually beneficial Partnerships and has a wealth of experience advising both public and private sector organizations on partnerships and policy-related matters.
In the course of his career, Dr. Madueke brought dynamism and professionalism in building relationships between the African Union and the International Community and promoted greater linkage with the African Private Sector, the Pan African Financial Institutions, and Regional Economic Communities (RECs). Dr. Madueke is also an author who has published multiple articles and a book titled 'Epistle on Leadership'. Dr Madueke has received several awards for his work including the Gandhi Mandela Leadership from the Africa India Economic Foundation (AIEF). He holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the Swiss Management Centre University, Switzerland, and an MBA in Banking & Finance from the Enugu State University of Technology, Nigeria.
